Fideso League trial at Valle Romano Golf

On 15th July Valle Romano Golf will be playing host to a trial in the 1st Fideso league – a golf league that takes place on the Costa del Sol.

Played using the shot gun scoring system, this tournament at the Estepona golf course will be the third of six in total to take place in the league. Prizes will be handed out after the cocktail.

A perfect day for the golf course 1st Anniversary Pro Am

It is now a year since that day on 21st June 2010 when great golfing personalities such as José María Olazábal and Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño, among others, came together at Valle Romano.

To celebrate this 1st Anniversary Valle Romano Golf organised a Pro Am in the “2 best balls” format, where the sun, the absence of wind and the perfect state of the golf course played a starring role.

Álvaro Quirós visits Valle Romano Golf

The golf pro Álvaro Quirós has visited the installations at Valle Romano Golf, in Estepona, in order to train before he travels to the French Open for “Le Golf Nacional”.

3rd Marbella Golf Cup 2011 trial at Valle Romano

Valle Romano Golf will be playing host on 23rd July to one of the trials on the prestigious Marbella Golf Cup 2011 circuit, which will be taking place throughout the summer at eight golf courses on the Costa del Sol.

The Estepona course will be the venue for the third trial on this circuit, which will be played using the Stableford individual scoring system and for which tee-off will be at 8:30 a.m. Reservations can be made by calling 952 800 600, via email to reservasgolf@valleromano.es, or at the Club itself. The registration fee is € 55 and includes shared buggy and cocktail, or € 60 without sharing buggy.

Valle Romano to play host on 15th August to a trial on the Promotur Circuit, which will be played at 25 courses in total

27 trials in total on golf courses in Andalusia make up this year’s 8th Promotur Golf Circuit, thus constituting the amateur circuit with the largest number of competitions in the whole of Spain. To this must be added the two trials that make up the Grand Final at the Lumine Golf Club courses (Port Aventura).

The organisation expects over 2,500 players to take part at the 25 golf courses associated with Promotur who will compete to gain a place in the grand final, as well as competing to win a large number of prizes to be handed out at these trials.
